To achieve the best permanent makeup results, you must understand and follow the pre-care instructions.
For permanent makeup brow and lip clients, please send me a close-up face-forward picture when you book your appointment. This will allow me to prepare in advance. You may email the picture to gracie@permagrace.com.
30 Days Before Procedure:
Botox and fillers must be done at least 30 days before the appointment.
Discontinue Glycolics, Retin-A, or Retinol products 30 days before your appointment.
2 Weeks Before Procedure:
Avoid extensive sun exposure, tanning beds, and sunburn on the face.
Avoid chemical peels and facials for the 2 weeks before your appointment.
1 Week Before Procedure:
Avoid waxing or tinting for 1 week before your appointment.
No hair removal including tweezing and electrolysis.
72 Hours Before Procedure:
Avoid blood thinners, such as Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Aleve, NSAIDS, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, or any other vitamins that may thin the blood. If medically necessary, please make sure to notify me in advance and we can discuss it.
Avoid smoking any substances for 72 hours before your appointment.
For lip blush procedures, you must come with exfoliated and hydrated lips. You may exfoliate with sugar/coconut oil and hydrate with Aquaphor.
24 Hours Before Procedure:
Avoid working out during this time.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your appointment. This will prevent any excess bleeding, oozing of lymphatic fluid and minimize swelling during the procedure.
Day of Procedure:
You may wear your normal makeup so I can see your color and shape preference. Please bring your normal lipstick with you if you are scheduled for lip blushing so we can select the perfect shade pigment.
Do not wear contact lenses if you are coming for eyeliner/lash enhancement. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses when your eyeliner is healed.
Are You Ineligible for Permanent Makeup?
You have taken Accutane, Tazorac, or any similar medication within one year before the scheduled permanent makeup procedure. These medications hinder wound healing and can result in scarring.
Taking blood-thinning medications, such as Coumadin, Xarelto, etc. This is considered on a case by case basis.
Skin diseases such as eczema or psoriasis in the area to be treated.
Undiagnosed rashes or blisters to the area to be treated.
If you are diabetic, you may still receive this procedure with a medical provider’s release.
Prone to the development of keloids.
Current or recent history of radiation or chemotherapy. Must receive medical clearance.
Pregnant or breastfeeding.
History of epilepsy.
Under the age of 18. This will be considered on a case-by-case basis and only with legal guardian consent and presence.
Lip blush clients: History of fever blisters or cold sores at any point in your life. You must contact your medical provider and take Valtrex as prescribed leading up to your appointment and following your appointment.

Cancellation policy
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel your appointment at least 3 days before the appointment date. Failure to reschedule/cancel within 3 days may result in forfeiting of your deposit. Also, please be mindful to arrive at your scheduled appointment time as there are other clients scheduled as well. Late arrivals may be rescheduled.
Booking Fee
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This will be taken at the time of booking. Permanent Makeup appointments require a $50 booking fee. Facial, lash lift, brow lamination, and makeup appointments require a $20 booking fee. The fee will be applied towards the service fees on the day of your appointment.
